Partner Channel Manager – Assured Energy

Role Summary

The Partner Channel Manager will join the SME division of the group with the primary function of focusing on onboarding and maintaining partner/sub broker relationships to help us to deliver our ambitious SME strategy. The initial period will be highly focused on Business development. The successful applicant will be working from either the Leicester HQ or home, attending networking events to seek out potential new partners/brokers, managing partner engagement activities, identifying opportunities for improving existing relationships, and developing an in-depth understanding of mutual issues, agendas and goals. The Partner Channel Manager will have proven track record with excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to build a team in the future; we are looking to develop this area of the business and the successful applicant will be at the forefront of this strategy.

Key responsibilities:

The successful applicant will:

  • Contribute to the revenue and profit targets by engaging with new and existing partners/sub brokers.
  • Proactively identify new brokers and develop new relationships accordingly.
  • Be responsible for onboarding new brokers including, TPI Agreement, negotiation of terms and setting up tenders to the whole energy market.
  • Analyze sales performance of each TPI and work to improve tender conversion rates.
  • Support the partners/sub brokers in the pricing of tenders.
  • Conduct on-site/off-site meetings with TPIs to review performance, identify new opportunities and delivering training.
  • Obtain TPI competitor intelligence that will support business growth.
  • Deliver on-site/off-site training.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience of client / supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly articulate and capable of mixing within many social situations.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good arithmetic skills.
  • Computer literate with strong Excel and Outlook skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
