At the beginning of the week, a heavy fall in the price of oil pressured the prompt and far curve. A near 3% fall in the value of Brent crude oil was the main story across the NBP natural gas market, resulting in losses across the whole curve, after a very long run of bullishness that lifted both the gas and power markets. Even though NBP sell-off continued throughout the week, bullish momentum did prevail near the front of the curve with prompt contracts boosted by lower wind forecasts…
