IT Systems Technician
Role Overview
To assist in all aspects relating to the care and
maintenance of computing (IT), security, audio, visual, photocopying, and
telephone communication equipment across the Consultus Group. Interaction with
internal stakeholders at all levels of the business to meet and exceed their
needs and expectations to achieve high levels of customer service and issue
resolution.
Common Tasks
- To provide first line helpdesk support (triage)
to all levels of staff for hardware, software, audio-visual,
photocopiers/printers and telephone equipment
- To provide support to visitors for gaining
access to power, A/V services and internet connectivity
- To assist with the purchase, setting up,
maintenance and repair of computer systems, audio-visual equipment,
computer-linked equipment and computer-related equipment
- To maintain satisfactory standards of safety and
security in relation to server rooms, communications cabinets and equipment
- To assist the Group Infrastructure and IT
Manager when required, providing advanced cover when the I&IT Manager is
offsite
- To carry out networking tasks, user account
administration, intranet administration, printing and server checks
- To develop knowledge and understanding of
current and future group infrastructure and engage in shaping the IT
trajectory.
- Attend any of the Consultus International Group
locations on a support/project basis when required
Measurable KPI’s
- Satisfactory feedback from helpdesk software,
reviewed on a quarterly basis
- Timely response and turnaround to helpdesk
queries
- Accuracy of support given to the business
- Quality of interface with other Consultus team
members and suppliers
- Application of the Core Values
- Adherence to team processes
