Procurement Analyst – Fixed Products

This position is responsible for preparation, tendering and negotiation of the team’s gas, electricity and water contract renewals, to ensure efficient, accurate and professional recommendations are delivered to the clients.

Common Tasks

  • Ensure site registrations are completed and handover of negotiation records
  • Ensuring recommendations are accurate and sent out in a timely manner
  • Produce tenders and issue them to suppliers with appropriate deadline
  • Enter manual and electronic offers onto the Ego systems for evaluation
  • Good knowledge of prices, third party charges and supplier products
  • Ability to analyse and evaluate offers
  • Issuing recommendations to Consultants
  • Processing acceptances
  • Ensuring the systems are kept up to date with the correct status
  • Full resolution of objections, updating inhouse systems and ACM
  • Validating new client form
  • Maintaining and updating of systems
  • Working with suppliers
  • Maintain inter team relationships
  • Assist in implementation of Company policies and procedures
  • Any other duties as advised by the line manager

Measurable KPI’s

  • Keeping data stored on systems updated and correct
  • Timely and accurate issuing of recommendations to Consultants
  • Invoicing is passed to accounts within 2 months of the contract start date
  • Objections are dealt with in timely fashion
  • Adherence to the Company Standards, Policies and Procedures
