TPI Account Manager

Overall Purpose of the Role

This position is responsible for managing external relationships with TPIs / Sub-Brokers for Assured Energy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The job holder will encompass the following:

  • Be the “go to person” and oversee the whole client experience by working closely with all of our TPI/Sub Broker enquiries such as: objections, rejections, billing issues, commission statements, consumption reports etc
  • To deliver excellent customer service through strong relationships with Assured Energy’s Sub Brokers/TPIs understanding their needs and working with them in order to achieve targets
  • Proactively seeking, recording and acting upon feedback on all activities to suggest and make improvements to our processes
  • Support the Northern Ireland operation, internal sales team and back-office in providing after sales support and customer care
  • Providing accurate and relevant reports such as: market / industry / adhoc updates to all TPIs and the Partner Channel Manager
  • Contribute to the revenue and profit targets by engaging with new and existing TPI’s
  • Obtaining, Pricing, Negotiating broker tenders effectively and accurately

Key Attributes, Qualifications, Qualities and Experience Required

The jobholder is expected to (or be working towards):

  • Proven working knowledge/experience in Broker Sales/working for a Broker is essential
  • Experience in the energy industry is essential
  • GCSE, Grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent
  • You will be able to build effective inter-departmental working relationships
  • You will be self-driven and results orientated
  • Accurate and efficient at reporting
  • Able to represent Assured Energy, with a strong telephone manner and rapport building skills
  • Well organised with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Demands high standards to accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent networking skills putting Assured Energy’s internal and external customers at the heart of everything you do
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly articulate and capable of mixing within many social situations
  • Good arithmetic skills, Computer literate with strong Excel and Outlook skills

The job holder will be assessed against the following SLA’s:

  • Referrals to other areas of the business where applicable
  • Maintaining the Company Image
  • Application of the Core Values including essential housekeeping KPIs
  • Adherence to the Company Standards, Policies and Procedures
  • Evidences department communication
  • Production of regular, accurate position reports
  • Ensure all SLA’s are met
  • Obtain customer testimonials
